The franchise is identified with a brand and corporate image registered by Corporación HABANOS, S.A., a world leader in the sales of Habanos under the most famous tobacco brands in the world: Cohiba, Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, Partagás, H. Upmann, Hoyo de Monterrey, Trinidad, San Cristóbal de la Habana, among others, which you can find in our La Casa del Habano™ chain of shops.

The concept of La Casa del Habano™ created by Cubatabaco (later Habanos S.A.), has the clear objective of showing the consumer the Habanos in an exclusive environment, in optimal conditions of conservation and presentation of the product. In La Casa del Habano™ franchise shop network, you will find specialized advice on the purchase of cigars for both the most demanding consumers and amateurs, who can learn about the culture of the product, as well as personalized spaces where you can leave your cigars stored, under the strictest quality and conservation control.

The first  La Casa del Habano was opened in November 1990 in Mexico in the Hotel Zone of Cancun, Quintana Roo, by a group of Mexican businessmen passionate about cigars. From there, the experience spread to other cities in Mexico and later to other countries including Cuba, which has an extensive network of Casas del Habano™.

The franchise was conceived from the beginning and remains to this day, as a meeting place and public relations between people who have a common hobby which is the enjoyment of the Habano, an exclusive product, with protected designation of origin (PDO), and family traditions, handmade by expert cigar rollers, with raw materials grown in the land of the best tobacco in the world: CUBA.
