La Casa del Habano department and Habanos S.A. congratulate to all Cuban Tobacco Readers (Lector de Tabaqueria), who celebrated their new anniversary this past December 21th.

Reading in the Cuban tobacco factories began on December 21, in 1865. Due to its importance and role within the tobacco sector and industry during all these years, in 2014 it was declared National Heritage.
