On December 28, 2025, the beautiful city of Bogotá, Colombia, witnessed the opening of the first La Casa del Habano franchise in the country, marking a milestone for the premium tobacco industry in the country. The franchise is located in a central and strategic area of the Colombian capital, in the traditional Quinta Camacho District, an environment recognized for its heritage architecture, its gastronomic offerings, and its proximity to the Bogotá Stock Exchange, law firms, and leading companies in the country.

La Casa del Habano Bogotá features an exclusive humidor, designed under the highest international standards, which guarantees the preservation, traceability, and optimal quality of all its premium references. On the second floor, it has two private lounges paying tribute to two global brands by bearing their names: Cohiba and Romeo y Julieta and on the first floor there is the Montecristo lounge. Access is through an emblematic staircase inspired by the world-famous staircase of the El Laguito Factory, with the Cohiba inscription on a brick wall and a hanging Victorian lamp that reinforces the luxury and elegance of the venue.

During the opening, guests tasted Habanos Partagás Línea Maestra, Rito (cepo 52 x 168 mm) and H. Upmann Connoisseur B (cepo 54 x 150 mm), a Habano marketed within the exclusive La Casa del Habano franchise network and Habano Specialist stores.

The evening was complemented by carefully selected aged rums, as well as the El Dorado Mojito, an interpretation of the Cuban classic made with golden berry (uchuva), Colombia’s emblematic golden fruit, which evokes the legend of El Dorado and proposes an elegant fusion between Cuban tradition and Colombian flavors.
