Last November 15th Habanos S.A., in collaboration with PCA Vintage Roots, LYD Group, and The Pacific Cigar Company, opened La Casa Del Habano in Bali, the first and only official La Casa del Habano in Indonesia. This prestigious franchise that is located in the heart of Bali’s Legian district offers aficionados an unparalleled experience of Cuban heritage and the world’s finest cigars.

The grand opening event was marked by the esteemed presence of the Cuban Ambassador to Indonesia Her Excellency Dagmar González Grau, Mr Gonzalo Asiego and Mr. Asier Arroyo as personal representative of La Casa del Habano. Also was attended by distinguished guests as Mr. Dag Holmboe and Mr. Gonzalo Alvarez Elola, CEO and Commercial director representatives from The Pacific Cigar Company, Exclusive Distributor of Habanos in Asia, and the local dignitaries and Habanos enthusiasts from around the world as well.

Attendees were treated with a selection of Habanos such as Por Larrañaga Petit Coronas and Ramon Allones Superiores, which is an exclusive cigar only for La Casa del Habano, accompanied by live music and a showcase of traditional Balinese hospitality, creating a memorable evening that celebrated the fusion of Cuban and Indonesian cultures.

The shop greets you with the unmistakable, rich aroma of premium tobacco, an inviting prelude to what lies ahead. As you ascend the stairs to the lounge, the scent deepens. Upon entering the lounge and bar, the reason becomes clear — the ceiling is entirely adorned with hanging hands of tobacco. Looking up, you’re instantly transported, as if standing within a “secadero”, the curing barns where tobacco leaves are carefully aged to perfection. This homage to the art of tobacco cultivation creates an immersive atmosphere, blending authenticity with luxury.
