A private dinner with Veuve Clicquot and Ferreira Café was held recently at La Casa del Habano Montreal. The event was an ode to the great things in life. The meal was courtesy of Ferreira Cafe famous for their Portugese style seafood.

It started with salmon and seafood canapes paired with Veuve Clicquot Brut. A very refreshing start which gave the Trinidad Vigia , the first cigar, a nice vividness. After the initial meet and greet and handshaking, they all sat down to hear the organizers gave some information about the evening and a word from the sponsors.

The first course was a wonderful lobster salad with a cucumber mayonnaise that was just perfect. They stepped up from the Brut to the 2004 Vintage from Veuve Clicquot. It was just a great match especially with the Cohiba Siglo V tubos from 2008, from the Vintage collection of La Casa del Habano Montreal.

For the main dish, they served a roasted cod with a cauliflower puree paired with the amazing Veuve Clicquot Grande Dame 2004. What a match!

For desert, a combination of Natas with cookie home made ice-cream paired with the classic Hennessy XO and the Cohiba Robusto Supremos limited edition 2014 .
