On 26th April, Alain Proietto and Sofia Belfasto opened a new LCDH in Switzerland, their second one, as they are already proprietors of La Casa del Habano in Lugano. This new La Casa del Habano is located at Via Angelo Maspoli 11 in Mendrisio, Switzerland, becoming the 9th franchise in this country.

The opening event welcomed around 200 guests among them the most admired and respected Habanos lovers and friends of INTERTABAK AG, the Exclusive Distributor of Habanos in Switzerland.  Just to mention a few of the most distinguished guest: representatives of INTERTABAK AG, led by Tony Hoevenaars (Managing Director), Alberto Donar (Commercial Director) and Yannick Goetschy (Marketing Manager), Mr Louis-Charles Levy (Shareholder of Intertabak). Other personalities of the night were Mr. Menzi, the owner of La Casa del Habano of Zurich, first franchise in Switzerland and Hombre Habanos, 2004, Mrs. Anita Sisimbro of LCDH Napoli, Mr Valerio Cornale, owner of LCDH Grand Cayman and Hombre Habanos 2016 in Communitation, Mr Francesco Minetti, Hombre Habanos in Communication, 2018. In addition, among the important guest were Mr Ajay Patel of LCDH London, Mr Massimo de Munari, owner of the DeArt (a renowned Walk-In-Humidor company), Mr Nicola Pileggi, Habanos World Challenge as well.

During the night, into the truly delightful atmosphere, LCDH Mendrisio management offered all participants a delicious and sophisticated buffet, elaborated by Luca Fanigliulo, the store’s Chef. Guests enjoyed smoking Habanos of La Gloria Cubana Exclusive La Casa del Habano Edition, and Montecristo No. 5 accompanied with Champagne Perrier-Jouet, Havana Club Selección de Maestros, Havana Club Tributo 2023, and other Cuban rum and cocktails.  The event was truly memorable.
