The heart of Geneva’s financial district, 6 Rue de Hesse, was witness of opening La Casa del Habano Geneve on October 10 and 11 of this year, becoming the eighth franchise in French-speaking Switzerland. With new store will unite its forces with other boutiques of Basel, Lugano, Mendrisio, Nyon, St. Gallen, Samnaun, Zug, and Zurich.

It was a luxury event which enjoyed notable attendees as well as H.E. Mrs. Laura Ivet Pujol Torres, Ambassador of Cuba to Switzerland, Mrs. Rebeca Hernández Toledano, Minister Counsellor of the Permanent Mission of Cuba to the United Nations in Geneva and other international organizations in Switzerland and many local and international politician cigar lovers. Also, directives of Intertabak AG, the exclusive distributor of Habanos S.A. in Switzerland, were attended as well as Mr Tony Hoevenaars, Mr. Louis Levy, Mrs. Dayli Torres, Mr. Yannick Goetschy, and Mr. Cyril Debarge.

The guests had the opportunity to taste a wide selection of Habanos cigars among which the most popular were Cohiba Siglo VI, Cohiba Robustos, Montecristo No.2 and another ones, but Diplomaticos, Regional swiss Edition, was the king of the event. All Habanos were accompanied by champagne, white wine, red wine, whisky, rum, and brandy.
