On December 15, 2023, Manila opened its doors to the first La Casa del Habano franchise in the Philippines.  Located in the heart of Makati City, the poshest district in the country, La Casa del Habano Manila welcomed some of the most admired and respected personalities and business leaders in the Philippines.

The soft opening was marked by the esteemed presence of Sherwin Hing, President of the franchise, and representatives of Pacific Cigar, Exclusive Distributor of Habanos in Asia, led by Mr. Dag Holmboe.  La Casa del Habano Manila, located at the luxurious Shops at Ayala Triangle Gardens, offers guests a private smoking room, a walk-in humidor for its clients attended by specialized professional staff trained by Habanos.  La Casa del Habanos’ walk-in humidor is the first and only walk-in humidor in the Philippines. Cigar aficionados in the Philippines are offered a wide portfolio of Habanos cigars as well as specialized merchandise designed exclusively for all Habanos stores.

The event was truly memorable. Guests enjoyed smoking Habanos accompanied with rum and other fine liquors.  The high participation of women smokers is especially noticeable.
