C.Gars Ltd celebrated the opening of the first ever La Casa del Habano (LCDH) in Scotland on September 12, 2023. Located in the cosmopolitan Quartermile development, this luxurious establishment aims to be the city’s top destination for cigar and whisky aficionados and connoisseurs alike. The venue raises the bar on the cigar experience in Edinburgh, offering an extensive range of exclusively Cuban cigars, Habanos, including luxurious options such as the Cohiba 55th Aniversario Cigar (2021 Limited Edition), UK exclusive regional edition cigars and La Casa del Habano specialties.

Founder of C.Gars and Chief Commercial Officer of Dominique London, Mitchell Orchant, expressed his enthusiasm about the opening, revealing that the decision to choose Edinburgh was guided by the city’s affluence and the company’s longstanding relationship with Scottish customers. “We have developed a comprehensive database of cigar enthusiasts in Scotland over the last 25 years through our robust online sales. This data and Edinburgh’s thriving tourist destination made it the ideal location for this new, extraordinary venue,” Orchant said.

As patrons’ step into this elegant space, they are immediately welcomed by an alluring central bar, setting the tone for what promises to be an unforgettable experience. The venue offers a variety of seating options to suit all preferences, from secluded corners for intimate conversations. A heated outdoor terrace provides patrons with a comfortable and compliant area to relish their cigars, accompanied by flights of whisky or rum, cocktails, and wine.

The venue is further enhanced by the inclusion of the Puffin Rooms, open seven days a week and featuring a stellar range of cocktails, over 200 rare whiskies,  a menu of exceptional small dishes and live music.
